Bermuda Grass Problems - Diseases, Pests, and Weeds
Oh, if only we could start something good in motion and leave it alone. But in addition to mowing, watering, and fertilizing your bermuda grass you also have to contend with diseases, pests, and weeds.
Many of these problems won't be your fault. I've seen the dandelions from a neighbor's yard slowly move into mine and same can happen with ants, pythium blight, and dog urine. In fact, if you really take good care of your lawn most of the problems you encounter will be beyond your control to prevent.
But you can win the battle against bermuda grass lawn problems!
The first step is to acknowledge that your lawn (or any lawn) will never be perfect and you have to be OK with that.
Then, you simply tackle each problem as it happens by following our recommendations on the Diseases, Pests, and Weeds pages accessible from the sub-menus in the upper left above.
Work with your neighbors against wide-spread problems, be proactive and never give up!
